Okay, so this is my review of Stephenie Meyer's latest novel, The Host. Please don't read any further if you haven't read/finished the book. I don't want to be guilty of spoiling.




I LOVED this book with a burning passion. Seriously! I think I loved it as much as I love Twilight. I know; it's a big step, but I really did.

My favorite part would probably have to be the last few chapters. They were the real tear jerkers of the book. I seriously cried through all of it. Especially when Melanie was begging Wanda to stay. I just think it's so sweet how much their relationship grows. They start out hating each other, and by the end, they're willing to die for one another. Oh my god, and when she and Ian were talking, ugh. My mom actually made me stop reading I was crying so much. I haven't cried that much over a book since...ever!! Not even in New Moon! I think Stephanie Meyer wants me to suffer. Just kidding. Stephenie is the most amazing author to ever exist in the world ever!

Oh, and I love Ian! Just to make it clear, Ian is mine, I took dibs on him when he was first introduced in the book, thank you very much. XD But I love his and Wanda's relationship. He doesn't care that she's a centipede, (I think Stephenie has a thing for the nickname parasite) he just loves her for who she is. And it's so sweet that when they were out looking for Wanda's new body, that he wouldn't let anyone touch her little pod thing. He's so sweet. Much better than Jered. I honestly do not like him. I mean, he makes it clear that he doesn't like Wanda. He even votes to have her give Melanie's body back. But when he meets up with her on the way to go do it, he snogs her like there's no tomorrow. That little player. He even says that he loves her!! And while Melanie was watching!!! Grrr...that just makes me mad.

But, I loved the book. I'll probably be uploading some fanart later when my computer's working again.

Oh, that reminds me. I'm having this problem with my computer: Whenever I try to open or save a file, the window closes and deletes my work. For example, when I try to select the file I want to upload and press the button, the folder window comes up and then the internet window shuts down. The same for when I try to save anything. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix it? I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks!!
